Peachtree City’s Southern Crescent Aquatic Team competed at the Georgia Senior State Championships December 7th-9th held at the Georgia Tech Olympic Pool.

Swimmers that placed within the top 20 in individual events were Lauren Scott (5th 100 Butterfly, 13th 200 Butterfly, 15th 50 Freestyle, 18th 200 Individual Medley), Kristen Bates (8th 100 Breaststroke), Ariana Berg (13th 100 Breaststroke, 14th 200 Breaststroke), Keaton Hannon (18th 100 Butterfly), Adam Otaki (6th 100 Breaststroke, 6th 200 Breaststroke, 12th 100 Butterfly, 14th 200 Individual Medley, 18th 100 Freestyle), Alex Harmon (4th 400 Individual Medley, 6th 500 Freestyle, 7th 1650 Freestyle, 10th 200 Individual Medley, 11th 200 Freestyle, 14th 200 Breaststroke), Alex Menke (18th 200 Butterfly, 19th 1650 Freestyle), and Zach Payne (4th 100 Butterfly, 4th 200 Butterfly, 10th 100 Backstroke, 18th 200 Backstroke, 20th 200 Individual Medley).

In relay events the Southern Crescent Aquatic Team’s Senior Girls placed 8th in the 200 Freestyle Relay (Sarah Larson, Kristen Bates, Keaton Hannon, Lauren Scott), 10th in the 400 Freestyle Relay (Lauren Scott, Lauren Beatty, Ariana Berg, Kristen Bates), 8th in the 800 Freestyle Relay (Lauren Scott, Ariana Berg, Lauren Beatty, Keaton Hannon), 6th in the 200 Medley Relay (Lauren Scott, Kristen Bates, Keaton Hannon, Sarah Larson) and 10th in the 400 Medley Relay (Lauren Scott, Ariana Berg, Keaton Hannon, Kristen Bates).

The Senior Boys placed 7th in the 200 Freestyle Relay (Jaron Beckwith, Zach Payne, Adam Otaki, Alex Harmon), 6th in the 400 Freestyle Relay (Alex Harmon, Peter Menke, Zach Payne, Adam Otaki), 4th in the 800 Freestyle Relay (Alex Harmon, Alex Menke, Zach Payne, Jaron Beckwith), 6th in the 200 Medley Relay (Zach Payne, Adam Otaki, Jack Beall, Alex Harmon) and 6th in the 400 Medley Relay (Zach Payne, Peter Menke, Adam Otaki, Alex Harmon).
