Baumgart inducted into honor society

Georgia Southern University graduate student Danielle Baumgart, of Fayetteville, Ga., was recently inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Leadership Honor Society at Georgia Southern University.

Membership in ODK is the highest leadership honor awarded to undergraduate junior and senior students, graduate students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni and persons qualifying for membership “honoris causa.”

Student membership candidates must rank academically in the upper 35 percent of their respective class, have a grade point average above 3.0 and show leadership in at least one of five areas: scholarship, athletics, campus or community service, social and religious activities and campus government, journalism, speech and the mass media and creative and performing arts.
