Brenda Stephens Miller, 59, Peachtree City, died Dec. 2, 2007. She was born Oct. 12, 1948 in Anderson, S.C. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, William Stephens. She was graduated from Clemson University where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. She was the "Woman Behind the USAF Pilot" residing in many locations overseas and stateside with her husband. She was a school teacher for a number of years culminating with many years in San Antonio, Texas. Graveside services were at Old Silver Brook Cemetery, Anderson, S.C., with Pastor John Weber and Pastor Miriam Beecher officiating.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, John Miller, Peachtree City; a son, Toby and Larissa Miller, Dillsboro, N.C.; mother, Alice Stephens; grandsons, Cody and Wyatt, Dillsboro, N.C.; sisters, Fredda and Tom Robinson, Tupelo, Miss., Paula and Rick Mitchell, Denver, N.C., and Wiggie and Mark Bitter, glen Cover, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, David and Jane Miller, Norcross; nephews, Ty Robinson, Tupelo, Miss., Will Robinson, Los Angeles, and Matthew Miller, Columbus, Ohio; and nieces, Carter and Anna Bitter, Glen Cover, N.Y. Memorial donations may be given to Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 101 Peachtree Parkway N., Peachtree City, GA 30269, or Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
