‘In a Manger’ to be performed at Woolsey
“Christmas At Woolsey” will be Saturday, Dec. 15 and Sunday, Dec. 16 at the church. “In A Manger” will be presented by the Celebration Choir and Drama Team at 7 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday. First Baptist senior adults plan concert
The Worship Ministries at Fayetteville First Baptist Church will present the play, “One Quiet Night,” Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15 and 16, at 6 p.m. in the Ministry Center. National Heights concert is Dec. 16
The Sanctuary Choir and Friends of National Heights Baptist Church will present “Journey of Promises” by Joseph Martin Sunday, Dec. 16 at 6:30 pm. Choruses from Handel’s “Messiah” also will be sung. Hugh Waddy is organist/pianist. James Allen, music minister, is director. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. The concert and reception are both free. National Heights is on Ga. Organist Richard Morris to perform Sunday
Covenant Presbyterian Church will host an organ concert by Richard Morris Sunday, Dec. 16, at 4 p.m. A reception will follow. Brooks UMC’s Christmas Cantata is Dec. 16
The Brooks United Methodist Church Music Department will present its annual Christmas cantata, “Canticle of Christmas,” Sunday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. The free performance will feature a full symphony orchestra with the Adult Chancel Choir and Orchestra along with youth soloists Taylor Beeland and Amelia Pearch.

Christmas rock opera returns to Fayette
“Joseph’s Journey,” a Christmas rock opera will be performed twice at Fayette Community Church Sunday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The cast of church members and rock music of the group “Journey” will tell the story of Joseph and his decision to become Jesus’ earthly father.
