Bill and Susan Marine of Clarksville, Tenn. announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Michelle Marine, to Matthew Ryan Farrell, son of Randy and Victoria Farrell of Brooks.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Charles and Sonya Miller of Clarksville, Tenn. and the late Maynard and Dorothy Marine formerly of Medway, Ohio. She is a 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and will graduate from Newberry College, Newberry, S.C. in May, 2008, with a bachelor of arts in psychology and minors in sociology and sports management. She is a four-year member of the Indians cheerleading squad and is president of the Kappa Delta Sorority.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Jean and James Forbs of Jacksonville, Fla., Joyce Woodin and the late Arthur D. Woodin of Kansas City, Kan., and Ted and Dorothy Farrell of Kennett, Mo. He also is a 2004 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School. He attended Clayton State University, enlisted in the USMC in 2004, and is a lance corporal currently serving in Iraq.

A June 2008 wedding is planned.
