Volona Saxon Thomas, 92, Peachtree City, died Nov. 27, 2007. She was born Nov. 23,1915 in Bowdon. Graveside services were at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Sally Oakes officiating. Survivors include sons, James D. "Don" and Barbara Thomas, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Stanley E. and Susan Thomas, Peachtree City; sisters, Mauveneen Clary, Douglasville, Verma Farlow, East Point, and Boyce Alsabrook, LaGrange; grandchildren, Jeffrey Thomas, Kellie Healy, and Adam Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Gabriella Healy, Jacob Healy, Issa Healey Michel "Mikey" Healy, Katelynn Thomas, Regan Thomas, and Eliana Thomas. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
