The McIntosh High School Chiefettes dance team began the competition season with an impressive start at the Roswell City Dance Challenge, held on Dec. 17. The Chiefettes competed in three categories, winning first place in both pom and kick and second place in the open category. In addition, the team received the "Best Precision" Award and tied with Lassiter High School for top overall score. The team next competes in the University of Georgia Red Hotz Invitational in January.
