Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer a live Nativity on Sunday, Dec. 9, on the lawn at Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway. Middle school actors will hold their positions from 4-6 p.m., with high school students taking over from 7-7:30. During this latter period the Christ Our Shepherd Brass will play carols.

The Shepherd’s Flock and Cherub Choir will present “Operation Christmas Child” at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

These young actors, age 4 through grade 5, have prepared this musical about the international shoebox gift ministry through Samaritan’s Purse, and they helped spark interest at the church. Some 149 shoeboxes have already been donated.

Leading characters will be played by Olivia Laaker, Emily Bunker, Rachel Moore, Laura Landis, Meagan Lennon, Drayton Hall, Alexandra Fedor, Will Sanders, Devin King, and Ilze Apfel. The directors are Andie Laaker and Cathy Moore.
