Garry Anthony Favors, 44, Luthersville, died Nov. 11, 2007. He was born Feb. 14, 1963 in Luthersville. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew Joe and Eula Mae Hill, Azzie Lee and Nemiah Favors, brothers, Nathaniel Favors Jr., Mukalia Favors; and a sister, Phyllis Favors. He had attended school in the Meriwether County school system. He had worked at Gene Evans Ford in Union City for the past 24 years. Services were at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Moreland with the Rev. Kenneth Bailey, officiating. Interment was at Luthersville City Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Mable Favors; father, Nathaniel Favors Sr.; sons, Gary Favors Jr., and Jaquevious Favors; daughters, Ashley Cox, and Jennifer Favors; grandchildren, Terrell, Destiny, Precious, and Ashton Cox; brothers, Paul Hill, Terry Favors, and Ashanti Favors; sisters, Geneva Favors, Stephanie Favors, and Carla Favors; and special friend, Shanika Anderson.
