The new region alignments are out and all of the local teams are grouped together.

Fayette County, McIntosh, Northgate, Sandy Creek, Starr’s Mill and Whitewater are all part of Region 5, sub region A. In the other sub-region are Alexander, Banneker, Douglas County, Lithia Springs, Mays, Tri-Cities and Villa Rica.

How the region decides on seedings for playoffs has to be decided by region officials. Needless to say, it will be a competitive region in every sport.

Landmark Christian and Our Lady of Mercy are both still in region 5-A for the football season. For all other sports, they are in 5-A sub region B and are paired up with Atlanta International, Pace Academy, Southwest Atlanta Christian, Whitefield Academy and Yeshiva.
