Matthew W. Riner, 20, Newnan, died Nov. 19, 2007. He was born Oct. 22, 1987 in Florence, Ala. He had aspired to become a firefighter and had completed courses to achieve his goal. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Lynn Riner, Fayetteville; a brother, Wesley Riner, Ft. Bragg, N.C.; and a sister, Jessica and Robert Floyd, McDonough. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
