Hofrichter on board as new chairman

The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta: Fayette Fund’s board of directors recently appointed Mike Hofrichter as chairman. Hofrichter has served on the Fayette Fund’s board since 2003 and also serves on the Grants Committee.

“I have big shoes to fill,” said Hofrichter about his predecessor, Joel Cowan, who held the position for 13 years.

Hofrichter is a partner with Rogers, Hofrichter & Karth, P.C. His practice area includes workers compensation, social security disability and long term disability insurance claims.

Active with many Fayette County civic organizations, Hofrichter is a past chairman of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Metro Kiwanis Club and past president of the Fayette County Bar Association.

The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta: Fayette Fund specifically focuses on the needs and interests of Fayette County citizens. Total grants from Fayette Fund donors have totaled $432,000 this year to date. Over $335,000 of these grants were distributed to Fayette County nonprofit organizations. The Fayette Fund also has an unrestricted annual grant program.
