Edwina Bond Cowgill of Peachtree City currently is conducting a “Transformation “Series” class at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. Cowgill is a commissioned minister of congregational care in the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church (ICCEC).

The local series trains individuals to serve as ministers of prayer in the local church. The class helps to identify problem areas in the students themselves and uses lectures, group discussion and small group ministry during each session.

The eight-week class meets weekly at the church and provides 24 hours of contact.

Those currently enrolled include Joy Barnes, Bill Shelton, Seth McGee and Denise Lytle, all of Peachtree City; Dawn De Leo, Helene Buelterman, Jane and Hiram Hodges, and Scott and Heather Haskin, all of Newnan; and Scott and Karen Quinn of Sharpsburg.

Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church is on Ga. Hwy. 34 between Peachtree City and Newnan.
