Helen Waits Bailey, 87, Petaluma, Calif., formerly of Fayetteville and East Point, died Dec. 12, 2005. She was born in May, 1918 in Gadsden, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Bailey. Services were at the First Baptist Church of Gadsden with a graveside service at Forrest Cemetery, Gadsden, Ala. Survivors include daughters, Nancy Lynn and John Green, Cleveland, Tenn., Susannah Callaway, Nashville, Tenn., Anne and David Taylor, Petaluma, Calif.; grandchildren, Monty and Margaret Green, Jamie and Blake Taylor, Amanda and Gus Trupiano, Lee Anne and Greg Frazier, Katie and Rod Hollingsworth, Lori and Chris Franssen, and Lacey Taylor; and six great-grandchildren. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, East Point, was in charge.
