Clifford L. Burdick, Master Sgt., United States Army retired, 86, Fayetteville, died Dec. 20, 2005. He was born April 7, 1919 in Andover, N. Y. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Doug Burrell and the Rev. Bob Kerr officiating. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Eaton Burdick, Fayetteville; a son, Douglas M. and Rebecca Burdick, Tallahassee, Fla.; daughters, Sandra Wordell, Dallas, Ga., Debbie Burdick, Griffin, Sabrina and Tim Braswell, and Diane Escalante, all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Darrell and Flor Wordell, Dale Wordell, David and Sara Burdick, Brian Burdick, Megan Braswell, Erin Braswell, Hannah Braswell, and Lauren Escalante, and Ashley Escalante; and a great-grandchild, Zach Wordell.
