Calvin N. Moon, 78, Fayetteville, died Dec. 23, 2005. He was born Feb. 9, 1927 in Cobb County, Ga. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of East Point Christian Church. He was retired from the United States Postal Service with 39 years of service. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Paul Carrier and Pastor Hoyt Johnson officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Moon, Fayetteville; a son, David Moon, Fayetteville; a daughter, Vicki and David Wallace, Cumming; grandchildren, Angie and Kenneth Malone, Andy Moon, Lisa Moon, Jeremy Noon, Matthew Wallace, and Valerie Wallace; great-grandchildren, Mason, McKenzie and Kendell; and brother, Earl Moon, Rabun County, Ga. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
