A 16-year-old Peachtree City teen was arrested Saturday just before midnight for carrying a concealed BB gun while driving through the Fayette Pavilion, police said.

The teen was initially pulled over for a malfunctioning headlight and told the officer he didn’t have his license, police said.

The officer then asked the teen to step out of the car, and got permission to search the teen’s pockets. That’s when the BB gun was found concealed in a jacket pocket, police said.

The teen was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and was released to his mother, along with the two other passengers in the car who were not charged with any crime, police said.
