Male cross country runner of the year -
• Thomas Raville - Our Lady of Mercy - 16:51 in the region championship, 16:48 in the state championship, state runner-up in Class A.

• Close second - Warren Enriquez - Starr’s Mill - Well under 18 minutes all year - 16:54 region, 16:47 state, 11th in Class AAAA.

Other top male runners -

• Fayette County - Jacob Heard - 16:58 region (ran that time twice this season), under 18 minutes all year.

• Landmark Christian - Daniel Hix - Under 18 minutes all season, 17:18 region, 17:53 state.

• Landmark Christian - Alek Pike - 19:32 on Sept. 12, 17:43 at state meet.

• McIntosh - Vince Brown - Shed almost a minute from meet on Sept. 12 (17:49) to the state meet (16:51), 17:06 region.

• McIntosh - Cormac Carolan Tolbert, 17:22 region, 17:08 Carrollton meet.

• Our Lady of Mercy - Jared Cooper, 17:06 region, 17:09 state.

• Our Lady of Mercy - Matt Lethbridge, 17:16 state.

• Starr’s Mill - Kevin Killory - Under 18 minutes all year, 17:22 region, 17:42 state.

Whitewater - Nick Londrillo, 17:07 region, 17:12 state.

Whitewater - John Grafmiller, 17:31 region, 17:50 state.

Female cross country runner of the year - Starr’s Mill - Jackie Sample - 20:15 on Sept. 12 - 19:52 region, 19:46 state.
