NNLC honors exceptional new neighbors

The Peachtree City Chapter of New Neighbors League Club (NNLC) has awarded two of their members with the title of New Neighbor of the Month. Sue Pye was awarded the title for September and France Chamberland took the title for October.

Pye moved to Peachtree City in late 2005 from Jacksonville, Fla. to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She joined the club in December 2005 and went for the club activities in a big way. She joined many groups including: Easy Readers, Fun & Friendship, Helping Hands, International Group, Matinee Madams, Socials, Tours and Luncheons.

Chamberland is originally from Quebec, Canada and has lived and traveled all over the world. She moved to Peachtree City in October 2005 from Singapore with her husband and their three children. Some of her interests include bunko, poker, arts & crafts, luncheons, socials and tours.

NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while they are adjusting to their new surroundings. It is an not-for-profit social organization that has a wide variety of special interest groups.
