Stars on the Southern Crescent, the coffee house phenomenon created in 1993 as a venue for accomplished talent on Atlanta’s Southside, has changed locations several times over the years, and this year the it will be housed by another new venue: the Tyrone Depot, 847 Senoia Road, in Tyrone.

The Celtic Christmas Festival is slated for this weekend, November 16, 17 and 18.

Produced by Offshoot Productions, the coffee house will feature a schedule of different performers each evening.

Friday’s show boasts four different sets: storytelling by the KSU Tellers, improv from Offshoot Productions (performing excerpts from “Fairy Tales for Grownups”), and music by David Leinweber and by the Rumrunners. On Saturday, the Brogues, Three Quarter Ale and Wine, Woman and Song will take stage. Sunday’s lineup showcases Barney's Goat and the Lost Boys.

Doors open at 7:45 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, with the performances beginning a half hour later. Mouth-watering desserts, gourmet coffee, hot apple cider and more are on the menu. Patrons should bring their own mugs for a discount on hot beverages and a chance to win the coveted "Most Unusual Mug" award.

Tickets, $10 each, will be available at the Peachtree City Library, 201 Willowbend Road and online at www.offshoot.org.
