Scott Robert Johnston, 28, Lake Mary, Fla., formerly of Peachtree City, died Oct. 28, 2007. He was born Nov. 20, 1978 in Red Bank, N. J. He spent his early years growing up in Matawan, N. J., before moving to Peachtree City with his family in 1992. He attended McIntosh High School and the Delta Connection Flight Academy in Sanford, Fla. where there he earned his private, instrument, commercial and multi-engine licenses as well as CF l and CF ll flight instruction ratings. He was employed as a flight instructor with Epic Aviator in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Memorial services were at Peachtree City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chuck Hodges officiating. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Susan Johnston, Peachtree City; a brother, Robby Johnston, Eatonton; and grandmother, Leone Johnston, Peachtree City. Memorial donations may be made to Angel Flight Southeast, Director of Fund Development, 8864 Airport Blvd., Leesburg, FL 34788. National Cremation Society, Oviedo, Fla., was in charge.
