Barbara Fay Matthews Campbell, 72, Fayetteville, died Nov. 7, 2007. She was retired from Piedmont Hospital with 16 years of service as an O. R. tech before moving to St. George Island, Fla. Prior to her illness of ovarian cancer, she volunteered weekly at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. A mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The family will gather at St. George Island to celebrate her life in late November. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Patrick Campbell; children, Paula May, Troy May, Billie Sloss, Trish Milner, and Sandra Tonkinson; grandchildren, Alexandra Huguelet, Kelly Huguelet, and Whitney Huguelet, Stephanie May, Christina May, Amanda Sloss, Glenn Milner, Scott Milner, and Carson Milner, and Kel Tonkinson; and a sister, Deanna Voshell. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Drive, McDonough, GA 30253. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
