Mt. Olive Baptist will host Praise-A-Thon
The youth department of Mt. Olive Baptist Church will host an “All Praise Celebration” for the entire family Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. All praise dancers, mimes, choirs, steppers, comedians, etc. are invited to attend. The church congregation currently meets at 192 Graves Rd., Fayetteville.

Enjoy Lessons and Carols at PTC Presbyterian
The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, featuring traditional Christian worship through music, will be performed Dec. 2, at 11:15 a.m., at the Peachtree City Presbyterian Church. The festival is a service of music interspersed with short Bible readings. The Sanctuary and Handbell Choirs will be featured. The service traces its beginnings back to Christmas Eve 1880 when Edward Benson, who later became the Archbishop of Canterbury, instituted it in Cornwall, England. New Song Community Church starts in Tyrone
New Song Community Church, a start up church in Tyrone, held the first of three preview services last Sunday, Nov. 11. Additional services are scheduled for Dec. 2 and Jan. 6 at 10:13 AM (see Romans 10:13) at Flat Rock Middle School, 325 Jenkins Road. The pastor for New Song is The Rev. Elbert Jenkins. PTC Christian plans car show Dec. 8
Hot Rods on a Mission and Peachtree City Christian Church present The 2007 Jingle Bell Classic Car Show on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 12-4 p.m. at the church, 500 Kedron Dr. The event will feature fifties music, food and fun. Santa will be available from 1-3 p.m. with pictures, children’s activities and facepainting. General admission is $3 donation (Get in free with donation of new pair of children’s or adult shoes). Proceeds to benefit PTCCC 2007 Santa’s Boots Mission Project. Ebenezer to host Family & Friends conference
Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church near Thomas Crossroads will host “Family & Friends Conference 2007” Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 28-30, beginning at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Guest speakers will be Pastor Rufus G. Smith Nov. 28, Pastor K.G. Bailey Nov. 29, and Pastor J.P. Baker Nov. 30. The church is at 2063 Ga. Hwy. 154 (McCollum-Sharpsburg Road), Newnan.

Sharpsburg Baptist to hold Christmas Bazaar
The Olive Branch, a ladies group of Sharpsburg Baptist Church, will sponsor an “Old Fashioned Christmas Bazaar” Saturday, Dec. 1, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Some of the items for sale include homemade jams, jellies, and baked goods; crafts, including ornaments, little truck kits, and shelf kits for children to make; and a white elephant table, including toys and books. Gift wrapping is available and cider and cookies will be served at the hospitality table. Sharpsburg Baptist Church is at 6413 Ga. Hwy. 54 in Sharpsburg, near the post office. The bazaar will be held in the fellowship hall, towards the back of the property.
