Keeping communities intact is reasonable

While [Assistant Superintendent] Sam Sweat is right in saying you’re not going to make everybody happy with regards to redrawing the elementary school attendance lines, keeping communities together is not an unreasonable thing to ask for.

Kedron Village kids want to stay at their community school and Whitewater Creek kids want to stay at their community schools.

These are schools that are close by and not separated by a major highway.

Let us hope that the Fayette County Board of Education will see that these chopped-up maps are bad for communities, and that safety and fuel conservation are a priority to Fayette County families.
