James Bloomfield of Fayetteville announces the engagement of his daughter, Sarah Kimberley Bloomfield, to David Billy Akin, son of David and Lagene Akin of Hampton.

The bride-to-be will finish her course work in May at Georgia College & State University for a bachelor’s degree in music therapy.

The groom-to-be is a recording engineer with a certification in pro tools and a degree in audio engineering from The Audio Institute of America. He also travels and plays bass with his family’s ministry, David Akin Ministry.

The wedding will be May 20, 2006, at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church.
