Nathan Pearson, a native of Peachtree City, Ga., was born an entertainer. His family and friends discovered this when Pearson, now an eighth grader at J.C. Booth Middle School, was still a small child, but Hollywood is just finding out about this young, aspiring actor. Pearson, now a card-carrying member of the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG), got his start with the local community theaters.

He played Benjamin in “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” with the Fayette-Coweta Family Theater (FCFT), Kirk in The Twilight Theater’s “The Sound of Music,” Prince Chulalongkorn in the Southside Theater Guild’s production of “The King and I” and Amahl in the Janice Folsom-directed Southern Crescent Chorale’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors.”

Pearson participated in a national thespian contest, the Millie Lewis Actors Models & Talent Competition (AMTC), wherein he won first place in monologue and first place in duet and second place in solo.

Pearson, now managed by Ted Brunson of Weissman Brunson Management, New York, boasts Los Angeles’ Meredith Fine of Coast to Coast Talent Group as his agent. Fine is noted for representing famous young performers like Haley Joel Osment and sibling stars Abigail and Spencer Breslin of “Little Miss Sunshine” and “The Santa Claus 2” fame. Additionally, Pearson has joined B and B Model Talent Agency in Newnan, Ga.

Pearson’s passion for acting and singing got him noticed quickly in Hollywood, and he has already booked guest roles on a number of upcoming series and movies. To date, he has filmed three guest spots on the new Nickelodeon series, “iCarly,” executive produced by Daniel Schneider, known for “Zoey 101,” “Drake & Josh” and “All That.” “iCarly” stars Miranda Cosgrove, who played Megan Parker on Nickelodeon’s “Drake & Josh.” Pearson plays Jeremy, “the germiest student at school.” The next airing of his performance can be seen on November 10.

The 14-year-old also recently appeared in the CBS series “Criminal Minds.” Pearson has filmed a guest role on an HBO pilot, tentatively titled “East Bound and Down” with both Will Ferrell and Brooke Shields’ husband, Chris Henchy, as executive producers.

Pearson has also been cast as a student in the Ashton Kutcher-produced mid-season replacement “Miss/Guided” on ABC starring Judy Greer as a woman who returns to her alma mater to become a guidance counselor.

Pearson is the son of Mark and Lani Pearson. He has one sister, Lindsey and a brother, Alex. His family incredibly supportive of his desire to pursue acting. The local community, including both his current school administrators at Booth and his previous ones at Kedron Elementary, and acting coaches, including his current coach, Lisina Longo of The Company Acting Studio in Atlanta, have definitely been a part of this goal, and Pearson plans to continue to pursue his dream…with just a little help from those very same family members and friends who have been there from the beginning.
