St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church recently celebrated its annual GreekFest at the Dixie Wing Commemorative Hangar at Falcon Field in Peachtree City.

The fundraiser was a chance for the local church, which consists of Orthodox Christians of predominantly Greek heritage, to share their hospitality, traditional foods and entertainment with the residents of Fayette and surrounding counties.

Entertainment was provided by Nick Trivelas and the Aegeans of Charleston, S.C.

The buffet dinner included such delicacies as Souvlaki, Spanakopita, Gyros, Pastichio, Greek Salad and Greek pastries of all varieties. Both live and silent auctions were held. The Rev. Fr. George Tsahakis welcomed guests and parish president, Tammy Soulakos, presided over the evening’s festivities.
