COS to present ‘The Chosen Garment’ Nov. 11
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer a special presentation in worship, “The Chosen Garment,” Sunday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. Steven Mosley, an award-winning author, producer and scriptwriter, will perform “The Chosen Garment,” a live dramatic presentation, taking people on a whirlwind tour of the Bible that is both humorous and moving. A cookie and punch reception will follow the service. The church is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.

New Jerusalem plans pastors’ anniversary event
Members of the New Jerusalem Fellowship Church will celebrate their fourth annual Church and Pastors’ Anniversary, Sunday, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Reginald B. Newman will be the guest speaker. AARP 55 Alive classes available at FPC
Fayette Presbyterian Church on Ga. Hwy. 92 North will sponsor the Driver Safety program (AARP 55 Alive) classes Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Thursday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. After completing the class, participants will receive a certificate that could result in a discount on auto insurance. The cost is $10 per person and covers the Driver Safety Program certificate and all class materials. To register, call the church office, 770-461-7147.

Mt. Olive Baptist will host Praise-A-Thon
The youth department of Mt. Olive Baptist Church will host an “All Praise Celebration” for the entire family Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. All praise dancers, mimes, choirs, steppers, comedians, etc. are invited to attend. Spiritual Warfare series starts Nov. 14 at Olivet
The Olivet Church in Fayetteville will sponsor a Spiritual Warfare series on “Stomping The Devil Out” and “Ridding Your Self From Satanic Strong Holds”on three Wednesday evenings in November and December. The series will be led by Pastor Howard W. Creecy Jr. and Lady Yolanda Creecy of Olivet Church. The series line up will include the following themes: Nov. 14 – Origin of Satan; Nov. 28 – Powers and Principalities; Dec. 5 – Spirituality of Sexuality. The series will be preceded by a fellowship dinner from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. and the services will begin at 6:30. The Olivet Church is at 877 Ga. Hwy. 314 North, Fayetteville. Epps consecration ceremony is Nov. 16
Father David Epps, pastor of Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church, will be consecrated as a bishop in the International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church (ICCEC) on Friday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Highway 54, Peachtree City. The service, which will be followed by a reception, is open to the public.

Harp’s Crossing groups to meet
