Union City Shooting

An unidentified Union City man was found laying in the turn lane in front of Union Station Apartments at 4300 Flat Shoals Road Oct. 30, shot four times by an unknown assailant.

The 25 year-old man was shot in the lower torso and in the legs, according to Union City Police spokesman George Louth. The shooting occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., Louth said, near the entrance of the apartments. The weapon used was a handgun, Louth said.

Louth said the man was listed in fair condition at Grady Hospital.

The victim was not a resident of Union Station Apartments, Louth said.
