Charles Thomas Hefner, 70, Sharpsburg, died Oct. 29, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Nancy Garrett Hefner. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Newnan. Survivors include his wife, Rose Hefner, Sharpsburg; daughters, Molly and David Dillard, Newnan, and Michele and Robert Todd, Carrollton grandchildren, Kacie and Phillip Dingler, DeeAnn Dillard, and Brandy and Wade Todd, all of Newnan; a great-grandson, Nathan Dingler; and sisters, Beulah and O. V. Boatwright, Lakeland, Fla., and Sybil and Leslie Brown, Seattle, Wash. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 135 Bradford Square, Ste. B., Fayetteville, GA 30215. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
