Guy Parker, Peachtree City, formerly of East Point, died Oct. 25, 2007. He practiced law in the Atlanta area for 56 years. He was a Boy Scout and volunteered as Scout Master for 40 years, and was awarded its Silver Beaver Award. He was a member of East Point Baptist Church and later First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Services were at First Baptist of Peachtree City with the Rev. Dr. Steve Bingham officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mary J. Parker; daughters, Jean Parker and Robert Thompson, and Joan Parker and Ron Robinson; grandchildren, Matt Thompson, Brent Thompson, Abby Thompson, Tex Robinson, and Jay Robinson; great-grandchildren, Keeley Thompson, and Zoey Thompson; brothers, Tom Parker, and Winston Parker; and a sister, Rachel Power. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge. login to post comments |
