Kiwanis honor technical career students of the month

Two seniors from McIntosh High School were recognized as Technical Career Students of the Month at a recent breakfast hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City. Brandon Hooper was nominated by teacher Lori Decker for the month of August. Hooper’s interests include sports, traveling and church activities. He plans to attend Albany State or Georgia Southwestern and major in business and communications. Matt McMahan was nominated by teacher Lisa Collins for September.

McMahan is interested in basketball, movies, playing the guitar, concerts and is the editor for the 2007-08 school yearbook. He plans to attend Georgia Technical Institute or the University of Georgia and major in architecture.
