PTCUMC offers free workshop

The Health Awareness Team of Peachtree City United Methodist Church invites the community to attend a free workshop on how to “Stay Healthy this Winter,” Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m., in room 304 at the PTCUMC, 225 Robinson Road.

The featured speaker is William C. Adcox, M.D., who will share medical information and tips on illness prevention for all ages during the upcoming cold and flu season. Those attending can listen, learn and ask questions.

Dr. Adcox’s specialty is family practice, treating ages from birth to 100, including pediatrics, sports/camp/school physicals, gynecological exams, cholesterol screening, immunizations, well baby exams, blood pressure evaluation, yearly physical exams, sports injuries, wellness-weight loss, tobacco cessation, minor office surgeries, painless hair removal, acne treatment and skin rejuvenation.
