Heather Michelle Parrott and Adam Christopher Grandle were married Sept. 1, 2007 at Flat Creek Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Pastor Bernie Fuska of Timberville, Va., conducted the ceremony.

The reception was held at Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Marsha Parrott of Tyrone and the granddaughter of Bob and Carol Parrott of Fairburn, and Margie Wilson and the late Linton Wilson of Sharpsburg. She is a 1999 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and 2003 graduate of Gupton–Jones College of Funeral Service where she earned her associates of science degree. She is a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Parrott Funeral Home in Fairburn.

The groom is the son of Jerry and Cindy Grandle of Broadway, Va. and the grandson of Wayne and Christine Myers of Timberville, Va. and Ann Grandle and the late Jody Grandle of Broadway, Va.. He is a 2001 graduate of East Carolina University where he earned a bachelors degree in psychology and he also received his associates of science degree at Gupton-Jones School of Funeral Service in 2006. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Parrott Funeral Home in Fairburn.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Ashley Parrott of Tyrone, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shea Wiley of Newnan, Leslie Logan of Peachtree City, Katharine Samford of Lawrenceville, Va., and Heather Kershaw of Newnan.

Zach Grandle of Huntersville, N.C., the groom’s brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Whit Grandle of Broadway, Va., Daniel Roberts of Charleston, S.C., Gavin Coley of Greenville, S.C., and Anthony Pipho of Greenville, S.C. Ushers were Mike Lapotasky of Manville, N.J., Jimmy Carter of Cumming, and Hunter Parrott of Tyrone.

Ring bearers were Jared and Brandon Oenick of Sharpsburg and the flower girl was Laurel Roberts of Broadway, Va.

Mr. and Mrs. Grandle reside in Newnan.
