Landmark Christian suffered its first region loss in six years last week. The War Eagles wanted to bounce back this week and they did just that, defeating Mt. Pisgah 56-7 in front of a homecoming crowd.

Landmark got on the board early. Blake Austin recovered a Mt. Pisgah fumble and Walter Lenard rumbled for a 45 yard touchdown on Landmark’s first play from scrimmage. Lenard, who celebrated his 18th birthday tonight, tacked on three more touchdowns in the first half.

Quarterback Tanner Bryant scored three first half touchdowns himself and his backup scored the final touchdown in the third quarter.
