Community help continues for Gulf families registered at Our Lady of Mercy. OLM, assisted by the efforts of Mercy parents and parishioners from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, have come to the aid of almost 40 families who relocated in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Efforts over the last several weeks have provided housing, clothing, furniture and counseling to some of the families.

While a few of the families have found permanent housing, the need for donated items grows. We will be fielding calls atĀ OLM Hotline 770-461- 2202 extension 435 or you may email your donation information to Blessings06@aol.com. Please provide your name, phone number, email address and a few details on the items you wish to donate.

The OLM Hurricane Katrina Volunteer Committee is seeking donations of Gas Cards, Calling Cards and Gift Cards as well as Furniture and other Household Items. Gift cards may be sent to: Our Lady of Mercy, 861 Hwy 279, Fairburn, Ga. 30213.
