The Homeowners Association of Arbor Springs Plantation gathered Nov. 12 to meet the new owners of Arbor Springs Golf & Resort. The residents were treated to breakfast prepared by Chef Tim Wade of Kelly’s on the Green restaurant.

Dr. Edward Ahn, owner of Arbor Springs Golf & Resort; Brian Kim, CFO, and Gary Lewis of The William Charles Group Golf Consultants were on hand to discuss the many changes and improvements to the golf course and the amenities package. According to Dr. Ahn, there will be extensive golf course and clubhouse renovations including a wedding lawn and gazebo, spa and sauna, a swimming pool, and lighted tennis courts.

Dr. Ahn pointed out the “resort style” feel of pleasure and relaxation they are trying to achieve to round out the existing amenities already in place at Arbor Springs Plantation.

The clubhouse will feature a pro shop, banquet room, and Kelly’s on the Green Restaurant. The lower level will include a spa, sauna, and lockers. Already in place is the beautiful new waterfall into the entrance of the golf course.

Kim encouraged everyone to keep checking their Web site, www.arborspringsgolf.com, to stay updated on their renovation progress and to see what membership programs will soon be available.

Arbor Springs Golf & Resort is in Arbor Springs Plantation northeast of Newnan off U.S. Highway 29 North.
