Peachtree City voters have two more chances to learn more about the candidates for two seats on the City Council who are seeking election in November.

On Sunday the Peachtree City Senior Adult Council will host the candidates from 2-4 p.m. at The Gathering Place off McIntosh Trail. All candidates have committed to being present, and much of the focus will be how they can best represent the interests of adults in Peachtree City.

On Monday, the Peachtree City Civic Association will host the candidates from 7-9 p.m. at the auditorium at McIntosh High School. The candidates will be asked questions developed by the association, and if time permits questions will be allowed from the audience.

The election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 6 but will be preceded by the advance voting period from Monday, Oct. 29 to Friday, Nov. 2. Instead of going to the county election office to vote in advance this year, residents will be able to vote at the Peachtree City Library that entire week, officials said.
