The Peachtree City Chapter of New Neighbors League Club (NNLC) has awarded three of their members with the title of New Neighbor of the Month. Sue Nelson was awarded the title for June, while Marilyn Carlson took the title for July and Beth Tatum earned it in August.

Nelson moved to Peachtree City from Buffalo, N.Y. with her husband Richard in September 2005. She joined New Neighbors League on October 7, 2005, and on that very day she was asked to be the second vice president on the executive board to which she agreed. Not only does she love to plan fun, she loves to participate in tours, socials, game day, movies, crafts and luncheons.

Also a northern transplant, Carlson moved to Peachtree City from East Brunswick, N.J. in October 2005. Her interests are game night, crafts, fun and friendship evenings, grubbing and gardening, tours and planning trips for women who no longer have traveling partners.

Tatum moved to Peachtree City in August 2005 with her husband Keith and their two children, Megan and Taylor. She joined the club in November 2005 and among her many interest are: crafts, easy readers, fun and friendship, helping hands, luncheons, and tours.

NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while they are adjusting to their new surroundings. It is an not-for-profit social organization that has a wide variety of special interest groups.
