Whitewater’s girls placed first at the Fayette County cross country championships Wednesday. Their top five runners were: • Kasie Knapper, 2, 20:56.26 Starr’s Mill’s girls placed second. Their top five runners were: • Jackie Sample, 1, 20:32.87 McIntosh’s girls placed third. Their top five runners were: • Emily Husted, 12, 22:33.30 Our Lady of Mercy’s girls placed fourth. Their top five runners were: • Sarah Hohenberger, 6, 21:40.64 Sandy Creek’s girls placed fifth. Their top five runners were: • Shelby Bolling, 16, 22:59.30 Fayette County’s girls placed sixth. Their top five runners were: • Rachel Shirey, 35, 26:10.30 Our Lady of Mercy’s boys placed first at the Fayette County cross country championships Wednesday. Their top five runners were: • Thomas Raville, 1, 17:08.06 McIntosh’s boys placed second. Their top five runners were: • Cormac Carolan-Tolbert, 6, 17:35.26 Whitewater’s boys placed third. Their top five runners were: Starr’s Mill’s boys placed fourth. Their top five runners were: • Warren Enriquez, 4, 17:17.74 Fayette County’s boys placed fifth.
