Canon Mark Pearson will speak at Christ the King this Sunday

Canon Mark Pearson will speak at Christ the King church this Sunday, Oct. 21, at 8 and 10 a.m. Pearson has led the Institute for Christian Renewal since 1980, a ministry that “helps individuals and churches come alive in a way that is deeply committed to Christ but is also sane and balanced.”

Pearson’s book, Christian Healing: A Practical and Comprehensive Guide, has been translated into a number of foreign languages and has been considered a classic in the subject for the past 17 years.

He has a masters degree from Oxford University, England, and a doctorate from Boston University with special concentration in the ministry of healing.

Pearson and his wife Dr. Mary Pearson, lead a staff of 16 at New Creation Healing Center, Plaistow, N.H., which combines medicine, Christian counseling, prayer ministry, massage and more. Pearson is a member of the Order of St. Luke the Physician and served for a number of years as the Chaplain for the U. S. House of Bishops for the Charismatic Episcopal Church.

Christ the King is at 4881 Ga. Hwy. 34 East between Peachtree City and Newnan.
