Event at McIntosh H.S. hosted by civic association

If you missed the Rotary forum for Peachtree City Council candidates Tuesday night, you’ll get another chance to see them live in person.

The Peachtree City Civic Association is inviting the public to attend its forum Oct. 22 at the auditorium at McIntosh High School. Candidates will be asked questions prepared by the PTCCA, and they will be provided with the topics, but not the questions themselves, 48 hours prior to the event, organizers said.

Candidates will have a three-minute time limit per response.

If time permits, questions will be entertained from the audience.

There will be a mediator and students from McIntosh have been specifically invited to attend.

The forum is for informational purposes so the public can learn about the political agenda of each candidate, a PTCCA representative said.
