Jessie Beatrice Hanie, 87, of Union City died Sept. 25, 2007. She was born Sept. 26, 1919. Survivors include a daughter Sylvia and Mark Cottingham of Brooks and son Larry A. and Ivelyn Hanie of Fayetteville; grandchildren Christy and Keith Floyd, Kelly Cottingham, and Tracy and John Horsley; great-grandchildren Bethany Floyd, Marcus Floyd, and Travis Horsley; sister Pat Richards; also nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at Carl J. Mowell & Son Fayetteville Chapel. Interment was at Riverview Memorial Park. Carl J. Mowell & Son, Fayetteville, was in charge.
