Adults can get flu shots today at PTCUMC
Flu and pneumonia immunizations for adults will be available Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, 400 Windgate Road. The cost is $30 for flu immunizations and $40 for pneumonia immunizations. Medicare and Aetna Insurance will be accepted with proper identification. No reservations are necessary. Southside, Pine Grove to co-host Fall Festival
Southside Baptist and Pine Grove Baptist will co-host a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 13, from noon until 4 p.m. at Southside Baptist, just south of Fayetteville. Activities will include games, prizes, hot dogs, drinks, moonwalk, hayrides, face painting, pumpkin painting, and more. All fun and festivities are free and open to the public. Bethany UMC plans revival Oct. 20, 21
Bethany United Methodist Church in north Fayette County will have a revival Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21, featuring special guest speakers the Rev. Dan McFarlin on Saturday and Judge Quillian Baldwin on Sunday. On Saturday a light supper will be served at 6 p.m. with the service following at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the Rev. Sally Oakes will speak at the 10:55 a.m. service. New Hope plans Fall Festivals
New Hope Baptist Church, both north and south campuses, will have Fall Festivals Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m., for children preschool ages through sixth grade. Bethany’s Perlieu Stew coming up Nov. 3
Members of Bethany United Methodist Church will offer their traditional Perlieu Stew, serving from noon until all stew is sold out on Saturday, Nov. 3.
