Adults can get flu shots today at PTCUMC
Flu and pneumonia immunizations for adults will be available Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, 400 Windgate Road. The cost is $30 for flu immunizations and $40 for pneumonia immunizations. Medicare and Aetna Insurance will be accepted with proper identification. No reservations are necessary. Southside, Pine Grove to co-host Fall Festival
Southside Baptist and Pine Grove Baptist will co-host a Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 13, from noon until 4 p.m. at Southside Baptist, just south of Fayetteville. Activities will include games, prizes, hot dogs, drinks, moonwalk, hayrides, face painting, pumpkin painting, and more. All fun and festivities are free and open to the public. Mike and Kristin Bauer to appear at FCC
Fayetteville Christian Church will host Nashville’s Mike and Kristin Bauer in concert Sunday, Oct. 14, from 6:30-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served after the concert. Admission is free. Bethany UMC plans revival Oct. 20, 21
Bethany United Methodist Church in north Fayette County will have a revival Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20 and 21, featuring special guest speakers the Rev. Dan McFarlin on Saturday and Judge Quillian Baldwin on Sunday. On Saturday a light supper will be served at 6 p.m. with the service following at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the Rev. Sally Oakes will speak at the 10:55 a.m. service. At 6 p.m., finger food will be available with the church service following at 7 p.m. Bethany is on the corner of Lee’s Lake Road and Rivers Road (Milam Road) in north Fayette County.

Inman will have Trunk or Treat Oct. 27
Inman United Methodist Church will have its Trunk or Treat Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5-9 p.m., at the Minter Farm east of the church on Hills Bridge Road. The event will feature games, food, treats and fun for all. For more information, call 770-461-2123.

A Night for Africa set for Oct. 27
Southside Church in Peachtree City will host Brackenhurst Ministries in presenting a picture of the needs of Africa Saturday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the church, 777 Robinson Rd. Flat Creek’s Fall Fest is Oct. 31

New Hope plans Fall Festivals
New Hope Baptist Church, both north and south campuses, will have Fall Festivals Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5-8 p.m., for children preschool ages through sixth grade. Trunk and Treat will be from 6-8 p.m. Scary costumes are discouraged. Activities will include face painting, cake walk, games and a food court. All activities are free with a nominal charge for food. Bethany’s Perlieu Stew coming up Nov. 3
Members of Bethany United Methodist Church will offer their traditional Perlieu Stew, serving from noon until all stew is sold out on Saturday, Nov. 3. Plates for adults will be $8; plates for children, $5. Pints of stew are $6; quarts are $10. Bethany is on the corner of Lee’s Lake Road and Rivers Road in north Fayette County.
