Amy and Steve McCullough of Fayetteville and Joe and Carol Nix of Marietta announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Laura Elizabeth Nix, to Bobby Lewis Crews, son of Kenneth and Mary Jo Crews of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Frank Nix and Mr. and Mrs. Paul McCullough of Fayette County. She is a graduate of Fayette County High School and Mercer University and is a kindergarten teacher at North Fayette Elementary School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Bobby Joe Bowlden and Mrs. Lewis Crews of Fayette County. A graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, he studied at Clayton College and State University. He is an aircraft mechanic for Hawker Beechcraft Services at Fulton County airport.

The afternoon wedding will be Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at Glendalough Manor.
