Tabatha Machelle Quick and Jeffrey Lee Barnes were married July 24, 2007, in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Theresa Quick of Orangeburg, S.C. and the granddaughter of Bob Mott and the late Loretta Mott of South Carolina. She received a mass communications degree from the University of South Carolina and currently is a self-employed cosmetologist. The groom is the son of Cathy Barnes of Fayetteville and Buddy Barnes of Newnan. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lynch of Fayetteville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Barnes of Newnan. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he earned a degree in sports administration. He is a teacher and coach at Hammond School in Columbia, S.C. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Mandy Evans, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Jason Barnes, the groom’s brother, served as best man.
