Linda Herren, Georgia Republican National Committee Woman, will be speaking to the breakfast meeting of the Fayette Republican Party Oct. 6 at 9 a.m. at the IHOP in Fayetteville. Herren has served the Republican Party for 30 years earning recognition for her achievements at an early age with the Young Republican of the Year award in 1972. Since then she has been a volunteer and contributor to numerous state and national candidates, served as DeKalb GOP Chairman as well as the Fourth Congressional District Chairman. She has served as First Vice Chairwoman of the Georgia GOP since 1996 and is currently serving as Georgia Republican National Committee Woman. Herren will be speaking on current issues that are of interest to the Republican Party membership as well as answering any questions concerning the Republican National Committee.
