James W. “Jimmy” Thomas, 71, Peachtree City, died Dec. 14, 2005. He was born Jan. 5, 1934 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Ivey Thomas, and a stepdaughter, Jackie Thomas. Memorial services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley chapel with Chaplain Gary Lewis officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Dawn and Richard Dickson, Brooks; a stepson, Raymond Thomas, Fayetteville; granddaughters, Danielle Dickson and Taylor Dickson, Brooks; and a sister, Dorothy Hodgens, Conyers. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.
