Robert Douglas Gerald, 82, Fayetteville, died Dec. 17, 2005. He was born May 28, 1923 in Fulton County. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Clarence Jett officiating. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Stockbridge. Survivors include his wife, Caldon Gerald, Fayetteville; a son, Billy Gerald, Fayetteville; daughters, Ann Kilpatrick, Brenda White, and Connie Zelagin, all of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Bobby, Britt, and Brian Kilpatrick, Brandon and Michelle Gerald, Derick and Carrie White, David and Natalee Zelagin, and Wendy Hayes; and six great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
