Over the summer, Austin Schneider led his Boy Scout Troop 275, as part of his Eagle Scout project, to renovate the art room at Booth Middle School for visual arts teacher Victoria Perez. The boys emptied numerous shelves of art supplies, including drawers and cubbies. They then sanded, primed and painted wood shelves to go into the art room. Schneider will also be building 8-foot shelves to allow the students space to place clay projects waiting to be fired by the new kiln they will be receiving. Photo/Special.
